Reginald Gray
Sao Paolo/Salisbury etc
One of six golfing brothers, he was born in Littlehampton in 1885 he began his career as professional at Berkhamstead in 1903. He was later the pro at Royal Guernsey, Lee-on-the-Solent (1909-11) , Coventry (1911), Denton Park (1912), the Newlands club in Hull (1912-14) and Foxgrove with whose affiliation he competed in the French Open of 1914. At the time of his appointment at Hull all six brothers were engaged as professional golfers.

Gray spent some time as a professional in Brazil as I have seen clubs stamped for him at the Sao Paolo club. The course there was laid out by Stanley Thompson in 1915 so it appears the time he spent was between this and his return to the UK in 1922
