Lifeboat Disaster: Burials

The six men who lost their lives in the Robert Lindsay disaster were buried on 31 October 1953 in family graves at the Eastern Cemetery.

The dead men were David Bruce (48), Harry Swankie (62), William Swankie (30), Thomas Adams (33), David Cargill (30) and Charles Cargill (28).
