Arbroath

Elsinore Bowls - Signal Tower Museum

It was customary for shipping lines with offices in Elsinore (and many were there because of the sound tolls) to give their captains commemorative bowls when they sailed into Elsinore.

An example of these bowls can be seen in the Signal Tower Museum, Arbroath.
