Stewart Burns
Cruden Bay
Stewart Burns Born in Stirling in 1899, Stewart Burns was Scottish professional champion in 1925, 1927 and 1928. He was a member of Great Britain's victorious Ryder Cup team against the USA at Moortown in 1929 though did not play a match.

He also represented Scotland v England in 1932. He was at Falkirk Tryst from 1919-1923 then succeeded John McAndrew at Cruden Bay (1924-1929). He went to the Hendon club in North London but resigned in December 1923 to devote more time to competitive golf and, consequently, became professional to the firm of Robert Forgan and Son.
